Hi, I’m Paul Barnes, founder of caribooDigital. I’ve been in software for nearly 25 years and a freelancer for the past eight years, working with clients as broad as Vodafone, Disney, BBC, Tesco, Air France, Ford, The Sun, Dunelm, John Lewis and Thames Water. I’ve recently made the decision to focus on building a business rather than the feast to famine freelance work I’m used to.
Building a web application or mobile app is a baffling, sometimes heartbreaking and often expensive activity. We know the challenges that non-technical founders, companies and business owners face when trying to launch a new software product. It’s often easy to conjure up a killer idea, that could really work, but executing that idea into reality is full of risk, uncertainty and often crippling cost.
We help customers identify the real challenge their customers face, through research, observation and experimentation of ideas and solutions. so they can build the right product for the right customer at the right time.
We do this in short bursts, getting something useful and valuable into the hands of your customers or users - with the entire aim of getting you to market as quickly, safely, confidently and inexpensively as possible.
We are a user driven software development company focused on outcomes - which means we rapidly create mobile-first digital experiences that make an impact for a business, their customers and it’s staff.
I live in Farnham with my family, 2 children and our latest addition, a miniature Schnauzer puppy. Apart from the family, I love motorsport, karting, snowboarding and mountain biking. I’m currently the executive chair to a Scout group in Farnham, which is certainly proving interesting during these unprecedented times.
