The thing that sets SiGNAL apart is our focus on creating a highly engaged community and a culture of friendship.

Our mantra is 'no one can build a business alone' and we believe that the stronger your network of fellow business owners, the smoother your path to success.

Also it's so good for the soul to have regular meet ups with like minded entrepreneurs and creatives!

We host a number of high quality social and business events each month to ensure that our members have maximum opportunity to get to know each other.

The picture above is taken at our lovely local pub The Royal Exchange in Lindford. Our social events are open to all members and their families and our networking events are open to all business owners.

We won an award for Best Networking Group UK at the SME Nationals at the end of last year - come and find out why!

We are continually growing our membership at SiGNAL - it's important to us to bring new businesses into the mix each month. Every business and every owner brings something different to the table that we can learn from.

We have seven new SiGNAL members to welcome this month! Pictured above: The Architects founder Ivan Henshall, Gather with Purpose founder Catherine Daley, Oaklands Agency founder Toby Hotston, consultant for Not Just Travel Heidi Wray and founder of Telfair Construction Russell Smith. New members not pictured are James Whiffin of Crofthaus and Kevin Wyeth, photographer. (Nothing personal guys but no pictures have been provided yet)! It's great to have you all join our community and I was especially pleased to see three of you last night at the Winter Warmer social.

If you are reading this and thinking that you would like to become part of the SiGNAL community in 2024 here are 8 different ways to get involved:

his month we will run the first Engaging Leaders Workshop in partnership with the EM3 LEP.

EM3 LEP funding has made it possible for 23 SiGNAL business owners to take part in a four day leadership training course completely free of charge. We are really grateful that our group has been able to benefit in this way and we are excited to see how this workshop series led by Steve Jones FCMI has the power to transform results for our members.

2024 could be a tough year for business owners but investing in leadership skills is a great way to enhance our resilience. There is still one place available on the next cohort which starts on January 16th. Call the office on 01420 556335 if you are interested.

You will have to become a SiGNAL BiZHUB member to join but we can happily sort this out for you!

There is a great monthly networking event in Farnham at The Castle Pub every first Thursday of the month at 8.00 am. It's free, relaxed and informal. All welcome, no need to book.

Donations to Phyllis Tuckwell gratefully received.

The Castle is owned by SiGNAL members New Dawn Pubs.

The event is expertly hosted by Branston Adams

Each month Paul Adams interviews a local business owner and this month it was my turn - you can watch the full interview here (40 mins)

Or if you'd prefer a short highlight you could take a look at this! : Hilarious Skydiving Mishap Lake Jump Gone Wrong!!

Brilliantly selected and titled by Opus AI - thanks for the super hot tip Olly Lynch

New Year, New Venue!

The SiGNAL BiZHUB will now be held at the Blackmoor Golf Club

We are very excited to be moving to such a prestigious and scenic setting.

Our first event at the Blackmoor Golf Club will be held on January 26th and will start at the usual time of 9.30 am with a continental breakfast, served in the restaurant with a rather spectacular view! Our co host for the event is Rebecca Liedtke, business development manager for the Golf Club and our keynote speakers are international ultra athlete Steve Till and hostage negotiator Ash Brice.

There will also be plenty of time for leisurely networking. Book here

That's all for this month, we'll be back with more BTS clips and information at the beginning of February! I'll leave you with a beautiful picture of Blackmoor Golf Course.

See you soon, Emma x
